To the Rav, the distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem and devotes himself to communal needs,

Greetings and blessing,
I have just received your letter of 24 Nissan. To the full extent of the possible, you will surely redouble ardor in your activity for the benefit of the Oholei Yosef Yitzchak Lubavitch* network in the Holy Land. It has already been possible for you to ascertain that, when one devotes oneself to these institutions, our master, my father-in-law, the Rebbe, invokes Divine mercy and one knows considerable success in the places where one carries out his action. By contrast, if one does not even practice an incision the size of a needle's point (if one does not make the slightest effort, success cannot be acquired)…
If you set yourself to the work as befits, your action will be fruitful. You must not be impressed by the equipment of the other schools. With the appropriate effort, you will likewise be able to acquire the equivalent, little by little, when the internal organization of the Oholei Yosef Yitzchak Lubavitch* schools is set in order.
There is no doubt that this activity will arouse blessing and success in your personal preoccupations, as well as in those of your wife and your children. I await your good news.

זה עתה נתקבל מכתבו מכ"ד ניסן, ובודאי יוסיף אומץ בעבודתו בקדש ברשת אהלי יוסף יצחק ליובאוויטש אשר באה"ק ת"ו ככל האפשרי, והרי כבר ראה במוחש אשר אם רק מתעסקים במוסדות אלו, הנה נשיאנו כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר מעורר ר"ר ונשפעת הצלחה מופלגה לאותם המקומות שהם מתעסקים בהם אבל כיון שאין פתיחה כחודה של מחט הרי אין וכו', וכאשר יטיל עצמו בהעבודה כדבעי הרי תהי' העבודה בהצלחה, ואין להתפעל ממה שבתי ספר אחרים יש להם רהיטים וכו' ובהשתדלות הראוי' הרי לאט לאט יתוסף גם זה, כיון שבבתי ספר אהלי יוסף יצחק ליובאוויטש הענינים הפנימיים יהיו מסודרים. ובלי ספק אשר התעסקות זו תמשיך ג"כ תוספת ברכה והצלחה בענינים הפרטים שלו ושל זוגתו וילידי' שיחיו ואחכה לבשו"ט.
