To the great Rav, the distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem and devotes himself to communal needs,
Rav Yitzchak HaKohen (Rav Y. Hoberman),
Greetings and blessing,
I received with pleasure your letter of the eighth of the forty-nine days that we count (of the period of the Omer*). In this letter, you evoke the chassidishe* gathering of the festival of Pesach* and what you said there.
May Hashem grant that, during long days and good years, you maintain the influence you exert upon your environment, that you draw the hearts close to Torah, to mitzvos* and to the lamp of the Torah, which is its inner dimension.
Obviously, the physical vitality that one draws from this, in a profound manner, finds itself increased. For by a Yid*, spirituality and materiality go together. The outer vitality of the body will therefore also be reinforced.
It is said, moreover, that "the wife of a man is like his body." She herself will therefore have an increased health, and Hashem will allow you to announce good news also on this subject.
Doubtless you receive the kuntreisim* (the teachings of the Frierdiker Rebbe, edited by the Rebbe), as you have asked. You will surely show benevolence toward others, and you will kindly communicate to them their content.
With my blessing for long days and good years, to redouble ardor in your action destined to exalt the Tradition of Israel, in good health and with breadth of mind,

בנועם קבלתי מכתבו מח' למ"ט מונים בו כותב ע"ד התועדות דחג הפסח ותוכן דבורו אז, ויה"ר מהשי"ת אשר לאיוש"ט ימשיך בהשפעתו על סביבתו לקרב את לבם לתורה ולמצות ולמאור שבתורה זוהי פנימיות התורה אשר מובן שזה מוסיף ג"כ בפנימיות החיות בגשמיות כי הרי אצל איש הישראלי הגשמיות והרוחניות יחד ילכו ובמילא נתוסף ג"כ בחיצוניות חיות הגוף, וכידוע דאשתו כגופו דמיא ה"ז מוסיף תוספת בריאות גם בהנוגע לאשתו של אדם והשי"ת יצליחו לבשר טוב גם בזה.
בטח מקבל ג"כ קונטרסים כבקשתו ובודאי תהי' עינו טובה בשל אחרים לזכותם בתוכנם של הקונטרסים גם אותם.
בברכה לאריכות ימים ושנים טובות ולהוסיף אומץ בהרמת קרן ישראל סבא מתוך בריאות הנכונה והרחבת הדעת.
