Greetings and blessing,
I have just received your letter of 27 Nissan.
May Hashem grant success to each of us, that we may very soon witness the realization of the request expressed three times a day (in the three daily tefillos*) by every Jew, "Velamalshinim al tehi tikvah*." And may one serve Hashem by studying the Torah and putting the mitzvos* into practice in the best manner, by strengthening the effort to broaden and enlarge to the full extent of the possible our holy institutions, in particular those that are linked to the masters of Chabad, the Rebbe Rashab* and my father-in-law, the Rebbe, whose merit will protect us.
Whoever submits himself to Hashem and devotes himself to all this, in a sincere manner, will be delivered from the worries and contrarieties of the world (in particular from the difficulties caused by the slanderers alluded to above). You know the image given on this subject. When someone, setting aside logic, devotes himself fully to the work of our masters, the latter take charge of his livelihood, that of the members of his family, the food and the tranquility of his soul (which the slanderers wish to call into question), as various sichos* establish.
May Hashem grant you long days and good years, and may you redouble your ardor in the action you carry out in the domain of Chabad (for the institutions evoked above). This will reveal an increased blessing and success in your communal activities and in your personal accomplishments.

זה עתה נתקבל מכתבו מכ"ז ניסן, והשי"ת יצליח את כאו"א מאתנו לראות במהרה ממש בקיום בקשת כאו"א מישראל ג"פ בכל יום, ולמלשינים אל תהי תקוה כו', ולעבוד את השי"ת בלימוד התורה וקיום המצות בהידור, וביותר השתדלות להרחיב ולהגדיל את מוסדות הק', ובפרט אלו הקשורים בנשיאי חב"ד כ"ק אדמו"ר מוהרש"ב וכ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר - זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע - ככל האפשרי. וכל המקבל עליו עומ"ש ועוסק במרץ אליבא דנפשי' בכל הנ"ל - הרי מסלקים ממנו כל טרדות ובלבולים, וכידוע המשל בזה שכל המוסר עצמו גם למעלה מטו"ד לעבדות הנשיאים הרי פרנסתו ופרנסת ב"ב מזונותיו ומנוחת נפשו וגופו על הנשיאים, וכמבואר בכמה שיחות הק'...
והשי"ת יברך אותו באריכות ימים ושנים טובות, ויוסיף אומץ בעבודה בכרם חב"ד, אשר זה ימשיך תוספת ברכה והצלחה בעסקנות הצבורית ובעניניו הפרטים.
