Greetings and blessing,

I duly received your letter of 23 Nissan, with what was attached to it. When I find myself near the holy tziyun* of my father-in-law, the Rebbe, I will mention your name and that of all your household, for the satisfaction of all your needs.

You write, at the end of your letter, that "my help comes from Hashem," and you are perfectly right. The Midrash recounts that the Tehillim* in which these words appear was said by our father Yaakov, who, going to Charan, asked himself: "From where will my help come?" He himself answered his own question: "My help comes from Hashem." It is for this reason that, subsequently, "the man became very, very mighty."

May Hashem grant you success, so that, very soon, you may announce to me good news, tell me that you observe Divine Providence in your material success and likewise in your spiritual success. Likewise, as I told you when you were here, you will know success in your communal activities.
