Greetings and blessing,
I duly received your letter of 5 Nissan. As you ask of me, I will mention your name and that of your wife, that you may have a son.
Your activity of teaching, tending to draw close the heart of Bnei Yisrael* to our Father Who is in heaven, constitutes a great merit. It will allow you not only to have pupils, who are considered as children, but also to have children in the literal sense.
Obviously, in order to broaden the blessing of Hashem, one must intensify one's study of Torah and one's practice of mitzvos* in the best way, which includes in particular the study of the inner part of the Torah, which in our era is revealed by the teaching of Chassidus*. One must also participate more broadly in tzedakah*.
Hashem will grant you success in all this.
It would be good for you and your wife to practice the mitzvah* of hachnasas orchim*.

מאשר הנני קבלת מכתבו מה' ניסן, וכבקשתו אזכיר אותו ואת זוגתו שיחיו להולדת בן זכר וגדול זכות התעסקותו בחינוך הכשר המקרב את לבם של בני ישראל לאבינו שבשמים שיוכל לקיים לא רק ושננתם לבניך אלו התלמידים אלא גם כפשוטו לבניך ממש. ומובן אשר בתור כלי להוספת ברכה מהשי"ת צריך האדם להוסיף בלימוד התורה וקיום המצות בהידור אשר מהעיקרים בזה הוא ג"כ לימוד פנימיות התורה שבדורנו זה נתגלתה בתורת החסידות והוספה במצות הצדקה והשי"ת יצליחו בכל הנ"ל.
מהנכון שיתעסקו - הוא וזו' תי' - במצות הכנסת אורחים.
