Greetings and blessing,
I duly received your letter and was pleased to learn that you are feeling better. May Hashem grant that what is not yet positive improve and likewise procure for you satisfaction. I am alluding to what you write in your letter, in particular to the diffusion of Jewish values.
In my opinion, you should seek a means of strengthening your contact with the women — obviously in a manner permitted by the Torah. According to you, they think you do not take part in their gatherings because you do not deign to do so, and not for the true reason.
First of all, you must not preoccupy yourself with what others think, since it is possible to draw them closer to Jewish values. Moreover, it is possible to explain the true reason to them in a friendly and peaceable manner. Thus you will profoundly influence at least a portion of these women, who will imitate your example.
May Hashem grant you success in all that has just been said, in accordance with the teaching that the Baal Shem Tov* repeated ceaselessly: "Serve Hashem with joy."

התקבל מכתבה בו שמחתי לקרוא שהיא מרגישה יותר טוב
והשי״ת יעזור שתהי׳ שמחה לא רק מכך שהיא כעת שמחה ,אלא גם
מהדברים שעדיין אינה מרוצה מהם ,אודותם כותבת במכתבה ובפרט
אודות עבודתה בהפצת יהדות.
לדעתי מהראוי שתחפש דרך כיצד לחזק את הקשר שלה עם הנשים,
כמובן דרכים שהתורה הק׳ מסכימה להם ,ומה שמשערת שהן חושבות
שאי השתתפותה באירועים שלהן הוא מפני שזה לא מתאים ,ולא בשל
הסיבה האמיתית .הנה ראשית אין צורך לדאוג מה הזולת חושב ,אם רק
ניתן לקרבו ליהדות; ושנית ,בדרכי נועם ובשלום ניתן להסביר את הטעם
האמיתי שלה ,ובתקוה שזה ישפיע לפחות על חלק מהנשים שיחקו את
הדוגמה שלה גם בזה .והשי״ת יצליחה בכל הנ״ל ושזה יהי׳ לפי פסק
הבעל שם טוב שהי׳ מזכיר תמיד ״ ״עבדו את ה׳ בשמחה״.
