Greetings and blessing,

I received with pleasure your letter of 5 Nissan, announcing to me the good news that all has gone well. I must repeat to you what I said in my preceding letter. Seeing all that Hashem accomplishes, one must strengthen one's emunah* and bitachon* in Hashem.

In fact, there is no need to call upon emunah*, for logic itself indicates that everything will go well. Let Hashem only allow each one to forge the broadest receptacles in order to contain the good that Hashem wishes to grant, spiritually and materially.

Moreover, these days of Pesach* are devoted to emunah* and bitachon* in Hashem, such as Bnei Yisrael* experienced then, when they set out, with their wives and their children, into a wilderness full of serpents and scorpions, relying solely upon the word of Hashem, Who asked them to go there.

Then they were able to verify that, when they had need, they received the manna as nourishment, and the good water of the well of Miriam*. They also merited that "your garment did not depart from you."

It is the same in every era, every day. Each one is required to consider himself as if he himself had come out of Mitzrayim*. And if one has, at least, a part of this emunah* and this bitachon*, one can be certain of receiving from Hashem the satisfaction of all one's needs, material and spiritual.

May Hashem grant that we effectively observe all this and that we obtain it as soon as possible.
