Greetings and blessing,
May Hashem grant that you may give good tidings of yourself and of all the members of your family. Following your previous letters, you hastened to send me the last one. In the same way, these good tidings will come as quickly as possible.
You know the value of zerizus* in all domains, as Iggeres HaKodesh* explains in chapter 21. Moreover, the festival of Pesach* corresponds to Avraham Avinu* (Chazal* explain that the three festivals correspond to the three Avos*), whose middah* was zerizus*, as the akeidas* Yitzchak attested. As it is said: "Knead and prepare cakes" — and Chazal* explain that this was then Pesach* (and these cakes were therefore matzos*).
With my blessing for a kosher and freilichen* Pesach* for yourself and for all the members of your family,
