Greetings and blessing,

I am responding to your letter of 20 Adar Sheni. When I find myself at the tziyun* of my father-in-law the Rebbe, whose merit shall protect us, I shall mention your name, so that the wish of your heart may be granted — that you may be able to settle down and find a suitable shidduch*.

You tell me that you have endeavored to improve your conduct, since a remarriage depends on the actions of the man. Despite this, you have not yet found a good shidduch*. But who knows? And why limit the Almighty, Who arranges couples, to the moment when they ought to come together, and not later?

Moreover, you yourself write that you have improved your conduct, but one can always do more. In any event, you must strengthen your bitachon* in Hashem, Who works wonders, and increase your commitment to Torah and mitzvos*. For when the realization of what one awaits is delayed, it is certain that there is a reason for it.

You write to me that the woman from whom you were divorced has not fully forgiven you. It is clear that you must try, in every possible way, to obtain this forgiveness.

May Hashem grant that you arrive at giving me good tidings on all these points, in the spiritual domain as well as in the spirituality of the material.

במענה על מכתבו מכ' אדר שני, הנה כשאהי' על הציון הק' של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע אזכירו למילוי משאלות לבבו לטובה וביחוד להסתדרות טובה בשידוך המתאים לפניו.

ומה שכותב שהשתדל להיטיב מעשיו וזיווג שני ה"ה לפי מעשיו כפסק רז"ל ובכל זה עדיין לא מצא, הנה אין אתנו יודע עד מה להגביל את השי"ת המזווג זיווגים שיהי' בדוקא לזמן פלוני ולא יאוחר, ובפרט שהוא בעצמו כותב במכתבו הטבת המעשים אפשרי בה תוספת ותוספת, ובכל אופן צריך להיות חזק בהבטחון בהשי"ת המפליא לעשות וביחד עם זה להוסיף בענינים של תורה ומצות שאז אף אם מאיזה סיבה מתמהמה קיום המבוקש בודאי גם ע"ז יש סיבה וטעם.

ומובן מעצמו שכיון שכותב במכתבו שעדיין לא היתה מחילה גמורה מהמגורשת שלו, הרי צריך להשתדל בזה בכל אופנים המתאימים שיבוא לפועל, והשי"ת יצליחו ויבשר טוב בכל הנ"ל הן בהענינים הרוחנים והן בהענינים דרוחניות שבגשמיות.
