Blessing and greetings,

I received with pleasure your letter, which was undated. You announce to me in it good news concerning your son. To observe the miracles of Hashem must, without doubt, have an effect on the entire family, allowing it to strengthen itself in everything pertaining to Torah and mitzvos*. By doing so, you will hasten the realization of the brachos* of Hashem regarding the other points you mention in your letter.

You speak also of modernity. You must explain to your children that Hashem is the same as He was several hundred years ago, and that the Torah is likewise immutable. The Almighty directs the world, exactly as He was doing before. One must therefore stay on the path traced by the Torah — the only one that allows Yidden* to receive the brachos* of Hashem, bringing the satisfaction of all their needs.

When your children adopt such conduct, you will be able to announce to me good tidings in all the areas you mention in your letter.

שמחתי לקבל מכתבה -ללא תאריך הכתיבה -בו מבשרת את

הבשורה הטובה אודות בנה . . .שי׳ .ובטח כשרואים נסים מהשם

יתברך צריך להשפיע הדבר על כל המשפחה להתחזק יותר בעניני תורה

ומצוות ,שההתחזקות בזה ממהרת את הברכות מהשי״ת גם בענינים

אחרים אודותם כותבת במכתבה.

ומה שכותבת אודות . . .מודרניים ,עלי׳ לבאר לכל ילדיהם,

שהקדוש ברוך הוא -הוא אותו שהי׳ פעם לפני מאות שנים וכן גם

התורה היא זו שהיתה פעם ,והשם יתברך מנהיג את העולם כפי שזה הי׳

פעם ,ולכן יש להחזיק בדרך שהתורה הראתה ,שזו הדרך היחידה עבור

יהודי לקבל את הברכות מהשם יתברך במה שנחוץ.

וכשילדי׳ יתנהגו כך בטח תוכל לבשר בשורות טובות אודות כל

הענינים שכותבת במכתבה.
