Greetings and blessing,
During the chassidishe* farbrengen* of Purim* this year, it was said that the kochos* granted to a person by Hashem, and which he receives as an inheritance from his ancestors — when they are not fully utilized — provoke the complaints of his ancestors, who ask why their kochos* have been lost without serving the purpose for which they were intended. And, the essential point: the divine Will has not been fulfilled!
It is therefore quite clear that the possibilities and the kochos* have been granted in order that one make full use of them, and not that one fall asleep. There is surely no need to say more.
May Hashem grant that you inform me shortly of the improvement in the state of health of your wife, of yourself, of your sons, and of all your children.

... נדבר בהתועדות דפורים שתא זו, אשר כשאין מנצלים הכחות שנתן השי"ת לאדם במילואם וכן הכחות שניתנו לו בירושת אבות, הרי כל האבות באים בקובלנא על אשר מבטלים כחותיהם מבלי להשתמש בהם לתכליתם, נוסף על העיקר שאין ממלאים הכוונה העליונה שבודאי ניתנו האפשריות והכחות על מנת להשתמש בהם בכל סניפיהם, ולא שיהיו בבחי' שינה, והאריכות בזה אך למותר.
והשי"ת יזכה את כת"ר שבקרוב ממש יודיע מהטבת בריאות זוגתו תחי' ובריאות עצמו וכן בהנוגע לבניו וכל יו"ח שי'.
