Greetings and blessing,

You describe to me the few difficulties you have had to face in your business affairs. Now, the Baal Shem Tov* emphasizes that the smallest detail of what happens to a Yid* is an effect of divine Hashgachah Pratis*. Hashem has granted you the merit and the success of having contributed your support for the new building of the yeshivah*. There is good reason to hope that this will become a center of yiras Hashem* for the entire city, and perhaps even for the entire country. You should therefore see a connection between the two events, and discover therein a message from Hashem.

Consequently, you must commit yourself, financially and above all physically, to making this building function. Then you will devote yourself to this yeshivah*, to the full extent of your means. It is in this way that you will repair the channels conveying brachah* for your personal affairs, will develop them, and will witness immense success.

I am not in the habit of giving precise instructions, especially when I am not on the spot. Nevertheless, Chazal* say that "one is more amply blessed when one engages oneself more intensely." Consequently, the more you increase your financial and physical engagement, the more you act personally and invite others to do likewise, the more clearly will Hashem grant you brachah* in everything you need.

You surely had a freilichen* Purim*, and I hope that you will be able to announce good and joyous tidings in all that has just been said,

האמור הזדמן הבנין החדש בעד הישיבה שישנה תקוה גדולה שזה יוכל

להעשות מרכז של יראת שמים לכל העיר ואולי גם לכל המדינה ,הי׳

עליו לראות קשר בין שני הדברים ,ולקבל זאת כהוראה מן השמים

שיתמסר הן בממון והעיקר בגופו להשתדל לסדר את הבנין של הישיבה

ואחר כך להתעסק עם הישיבה במידה המקסימלית ,שזה יתקן את

הצמרות של העסקים הפרטיים ויגדיל אותם שגם זה יהי׳ בהצלחה

מופלגה.

אין זו דרכי לציין מספרים ובפרט כשאינני נמצא על־אתר ,אבל

ידוע מאמר רז״ל כל המוסיף מוסיפין לו ,במילא ככל שיוסיף יותר ,הן

בממונו והן בטרחתו בגופו לעשות בעצמו בזה וגם לעניין אחרים ,ודאי

יוסיף השי״ת בהצלחה במה שנחוץ לו.

בטח הי׳ לו פורים שמח והנני מקוה שיוכל לבשר בשורות טובות

משמחות בכל הנ״ל . . .
