To the Rav, the distinguished Chassid who fears Hashem, Rav David Aryeh Morosov,
Greetings and blessing,
In addition to what I conveyed to you orally, I asked that my regards be transmitted to the Chassidim* of Montreal, to which I joined what was appropriate, at least briefly, of the chassidishe* farbrengen* of the Rebbe and of its content.
I enclose for you a check, as a participation in the expenses of this chassidishe* farbrengen* organized by the Chassidim*. You will arrange it at an appropriate moment. It would be good not to make a point of insisting that the participants be Chassidim* in the full sense of the term.
In fact, during the chassidishe* farbrengen* of the Rebbe, the saying of the Alter Rebbe* was repeated (see letter no. 2278) — that Chassidus* concerns the entire Jewish people.

בהוספה למה שדברתי עמו בעל פה בקשתי למסור פ"ש לאנ"ש שיחיו דמאנטרעאל בצירוף ענינים המתאימים מההתועדות עכ"פ בקיצור ותוכנם. ומוסג"פ המחאה בתור השתתפותי בהוצאות התועדות זו, ובודאי יעשה זה בזמן המתאים, ומה טוב שלא ידקדקו כ"כ שהמתועדים יהיו דוקא מ'שפיץ חב"ד, וכמדובר בעת ההתועדות בפתגם כ"ק רבינו הזקן שחסידות הוא ענין לכל ישראל.
