Greetings and blessings,

I received your letter of Sunday of parshas Vayikra. I am surprised at your statement that you do not know what you can do to spread chassidus*, when you live in a city where there are many Yidden* who do not know its teaching, its ways, and its practices — and even those who do know them know only a superficial idea of them.

You could organize, from time to time, a farbrengen*, recount in it the stories of the tzaddikim* found in Sefer HaSichos* or Likkutei Dibburim*, and strive to draw from them a teaching for daily life.

Obviously, conditions differ from one place to another, but it is clear that in every place where Hashem sends a Yid, his wife, and the members of his family, they must introduce His Light, as our holy Rebbeim and the chassidim have explained in every generation.

And nothing stands in the way of true determination.

מאשר הנני קבלת מכתבו מא' ויקרא. ולפלא מה שכותב שאינו יודע מה יוכל לעשות בהפצת תורת החסידות, בה בשעה שדר במקום שם יש כמה מאחב"י שחסרה להם כל ידיעה מתורת החסידות הדרכותי' ומנהגי'. ואפילו היודעים, יודעים רק מעט מזעיר. ויכול הוא לסדר מזמן לזמן התועדות ושיחות בסיפורי צדיקים המובאים בספר השיחות, בהלקוטי דבורים וכיו"ב ולהשתדל להשיג מזה בכן בהנוגע לחיי היום יומים.

מובן אשר משתנים הענינים ממקום למקום, אבל דבר ברור הוא שבכל מקום ומקום ששולח השי"ת את איש הישראלי זוגתו וב"ב שיחיו יש להם להכניס שם אור האלקי, וכפי שנתבאר ע"י נשיאנו הק' והחסידים מדור לדור. ואין לך דבר העומד בפני הרצון האמיתי.
