Greetings and blessings[1],

A request for berachah* on your behalf has reached me through the distinguished chassid* who fears Hashem, Rav Yosef Flyer[2]. You wish to travel to Eretz HaKodesh*, which will be restored and rebuilt by Moshiach Tzidkeinu*. May Hashem grant that your trip and your stay be pleasant.

It is surely unnecessary to point out to you that, when one travels to a country which all the nations define as the Holy Land, one must take the firm decision to conduct oneself there as Hashem demands of the Yidden* whom He calls 'goy kadosh*' (a holy nation).

If one has difficulty in adopting such conduct, it is because one is being placed under a 'test'[3] by HaKadosh-Baruch-Hu*, to give proof of one's sincerity and integrity. If one overcomes this test and indeed acts as Hashem demands of a Yid, one fashions thereby the 'channel'[4] and the kelim* through which Hashem grants His berachah in everything one needs.

May Hashem grant that you succeed in putting into practice in your daily life what has just been said.

בטח מיותר להדגיש עבורה ,שכאשר נוסעים לארץ הנקראת ע״י כל

העמים בשם הארץ הקדושה ,מוכרחים להחליט החלטה תקיפה

להתנהג שם כפי שהקדוש ברוך הוא מצפה מיהודים ,אותם הוא -ברוך

הוא ״ קורא בשם גוי -עם -קדוש ,ובאם נתקלים בקשיים בהתנהגות

בכיוון זה ,אין זה אלא נסיון -בדיקה -מהקדוש ברוך הוא לבחון את

האמיתיות והשלימות האדם המסויים ,וכשעומדים בנסיון ,ומתנהגים

כפי שהשם יתברך מצפה מיהודים ,הרי זהו צנור ־״ ערוץ -וכלים דרכם

השם יתברך נותן את ברכתו במה שנחוץ .והשי״ת יעזור לה שתוכל

להגשים את כל הנזכר לעיל בפועל בחיי היום יום.
