Greetings and blessings,

You write me regarding the chassidic farbrengen* of Purim*, which this year is to fall on erev Shabbos[2]. The Shulchan Aruch* states that the seudah*[3] should then be eaten during Friday.

My intention is to set this farbrengen close to Purim — that is, on Shabbos, following the Kiddush*.

You will see on this the Marei Panim on the Yerushalmi*, chapter 1, halachah* 4.

With my blessing for all that has just been said,
