To the distinguished chassid* who fears Hashem,

Rav Moshe,

Greetings and blessings,

I reply to your letter of 14 Adar Rishon, in which you ask my opinion on the following point. A shidduch* is being proposed for your daughter. The young man's name is Moshe Yosef, while yours is David Moshe[1].

If you are each called differently — for instance, if you yourself are called Moshe and he is called Yosef — your concern will be resolved. The same will be true if he is called by both his names, Moshe Yosef, and you yourself are called by your two names, David Moshe[2].

In accordance with your request, I will mention your name when I am at the holy tziyun* of my father-in-law the Rebbe, may his merit protect us, so that you have hatzlachah* in your business affairs and, in general, in earning your livelihood.

May Hashem grant that you and your wife have great chassidic nachas* from your children.
