Blessings and greetings,

I confirm to you, although belatedly, having received your letter of 25 Teves drafted by Mrs. Chava Dubov, as well as the lists of your meetings that were enclosed with it. I hope that in the future, not only will you continue the actions you have begun, but more than that, you will develop them.

Chazal* assure us that 'nothing withstands the will' and that 'effort is crowned with success.'

I was particularly pleased to observe in your lists that part of your studies bears on the laws and customs of Yisrael — these latter being an integral part of the Torah. I hope that you learn, as a priority, the laws that apply to daily life[2] and those that govern good middos*. For you know the teaching of Rabbi Akiva that the precept 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself' is 'a great principle of the Torah.'

I enclose one of my letters addressed to all, hoping that it will be useful to you in your work. May Hashem grant success to each one of you, in the activities just mentioned and in your personal concerns.
