To the rav, distinguished chassid* who fears Hashem and devotes himself to communal needs,

Rav Chaim Hillel[1],

Greetings and blessings,

I received with pleasure your letter of Rosh Chodesh. I was particularly pleased that you organized in the proper manner a farbrengen*[2] for the children of the Talmud Torah*. I am surprised not to have received the same news from Beis Rivkah*[3]. I have good hope that what is missing concerns only the writing, but not the concrete action.

I will read the request for berachah* contained in your letter, at an opportune moment, at the holy tziyun* of my father-in-law the Rebbe, may his merit protect us. May Hashem bring it to pass that you announce to me an improvement in the physical health and, to the extent possible, in the spiritual health of those you contact in the framework of your sacred mission[4]. And it is said that effort is always crowned with success.

I was glad to learn that the study of chassidus* has been strengthened in your settlement[5]. No doubt the women also gather from time to time, so that their meetings lead to mitzvos in general, and to good sentiments in particular.

May Hashem grant success to each one of you.

בנועם קבלתי מכתבו מר"ח ונהניתי במאד ממה שסידר התועדות בסגנון המתאים עם תלמידי התלמוד תורה, ולפלא שלא הגיעתני לע"ע ידיעה כזו מהבית רבקה וכו' ותקותי שאין זה אלא חסרון בכתיבה ולא בהפועל.

הפ"נ שמזכיר במכתבו אקראם בעת רצון על הציון הק' של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע והשי"ת יזכהו לבשר מהטבת בריאות בגשמיות ולעשות ככל יכולתו בהטבת הבריאות ברוחניות של אלו האנשים שבא עמהם בקישור לרגלי עבודתו בקדש ויגעת ומצאת.

נהניתי ממ"ש אודות התחזקות לימוד הדא"ח בהקבוץ שלהם ובטח יש ג"כ סדר שהנשים מתאספות מזמן לזמן ובאופן שמכינוס שלהן יבוא ענין לפועל במצות בכלל ומדות טובות בפרט והשי"ת יצליח את כאו"א מהם.
