Greetings and blessings,

I received your letter of erev Shabbos*. When I went to the holy tziyun* of my father-in-law the Rebbe, may his merit protect us, I mentioned your name and that of your wife, so that the fervent request of your heart[1] be granted.

You explain why the procedure of blowing through the tubes[2] has not yet been performed. One must first ascertain that it is actually necessary, and perform it only if the tubes are not open. You tell me that this procedure is particularly painful. I am very surprised at this. Here it is performed routinely and I have never heard that it gives rise to such suffering.

I was pleased to note that you observe the three well-known studies that are everyone's, those of Chumash*, Tehillim*, and Tanya*. Of course, one must take them on bli neder*. So it does not matter if from time to time, in cases of force majeure, you are unable to keep them up — but in such a case, you will make up what needs to be made up over the following days.

You have surely had your mezuzos* checked in the past twelve months. If not, you will do so now.

May Hashem grant you the merit and the success to give good news and announce that the wish of your heart has been granted.

מאשר הנני קבלת מכתבו מעש"ק וכשהייתי על הציון הק' של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע הזכרתיו ואת זוגתו שיחיו למילוי משאלות לבבם לטובה.

ומה שכותב בסיבת הדבר שלא עשו עד עתה דורכבלאזונג, הנה מתחלה צריך לברר אם נצרך לעשות כזה, היינו אם הצנורות אינם פתוחים ורק אז לעשותו, ומה שכותב שזהו קשור ביסורים גדולים ל"ע, הנה פלא בעיני הדבר, כי כאן זהו מעשים בכל יום ולא שמעתי שיתאוננו על יסורים גדולים וכו'.

נהניתי ממ"ש ששומר שלשת השיעורים השוים לכל נפש בחומש תהלים ותניא הידועים, מובן מעצמו שצ"ל זה בלי נדר, ובמילא אם באונס נחסר לפעמים לא על זה היא הכוונה ובטח במקרים כמו אלה ממלא בימים שלאחריהם.

בטח בדקו אצלם המזוזות במשך י"ב חדש האחרונים, ואם הוא יתר על זמן זה, כדאי לבודקם, והשי"ת יזכהו ויצליחו לבשר טוב במילוי משאלות לבבם לטובה.
