By the grace of Hashem,

I greet you and bless you,

I was pleased to have news of you, through a young chassid*[1]. He told me that, baruch Hashem*, you are doing better and that your sight has improved. No doubt you will preserve, in the future, the practices that I specified in my letter.

It would be good for you to study each day, or that there be read before you, a few lines of Zohar* and Tanya*, works in which one frequently encounters the expression "ta chazi — come see"[2]. Thus, our holy Torah issues the directive to see Divinity concretely, which makes it possible also to see in the appropriate manner, with one's fleshly eyes[3], to perceive that everything was created and exists by the word of Hashem, Who vivifies the creatures.

With my brachah* for your refuah*, for long days and good years, materially and spiritually,
