B'ezras Hashem*,

To the distinguished and learned chassid* who fears Hashem*

and devotes himself to communal needs,

Rav Yechezkel,[1]

Greetings and blessings,

I received your gift with pleasure — the sefer* Shivchei Kohen Keser Torah, which you published. The merit constituted by it is inestimable. And various texts[2] describe the longing of Dovid HaMelech*, as it is said: "I will dwell in Your tent for eternity."

It is therefore clear that one thereby reveals increased blessing and success, through the rachamim* invoked by the author for the satisfaction of the needs of the publisher and the members of his household. For someone like you, it is surely unnecessary to say more.

On the occasion of the days of Pesach*, which are approaching, for us and for all Yisrael*, for the good, I extend to you my blessing for a kosher* and joyous festival.

And may the long-awaited promise be fulfilled, that "as in the days of your going out from Mitzrayim*, I will show you wonders," with our true and complete redemption, in your lifetime and in ours, through our righteous Moshiach*.

בת"ח קבלתי את התשורה הספר שבחי כהן כתר תורה שי"ל על ידו, וגודל הזכות אשר בזה אין די באר, ומבואר בכ"מ עד כמה נתגעגע דוד המלך ע"ה וכמ"ש אגורה באהלך עולמים וגו' ובמילא מובן אשר עי"ז ממשיכים תוספת ברכה והצלחה ע"י התעוררות רחמים מהמחבר לכל המצטרך להמו"ל ולכל ב"ב שיחיו. לדכוותי' בטח האריכות בזה אך למותר.

ולקראת ימי החג הבאים עלינו ועל כל ישראל לטובה הנני בזה להביע ברכתי לחג הפסח כשר ושמח.

ולקיום היעוד המקווה, כימי צאתך מארץ מצרים אראנו נפלאות, בגאולתנו האמיתית והשלימה, בימיו ובימינו ע"י משיח צדקנו.
