Igrot Kodesh · Letter 2075 — Geulah
Volume 7 · Letter 210 · 11 Nissan 5713
11 Nissan 5713,
Brooklyn, New York,
To the association of women and girls of Chabad*,
Group of …,[1] may Hashem* grant them long life,
I bless you and greet you abundantly,
On the occasion of the days of Pesach* that are coming, for us and for all Yisrael*, for the good, I would like to wish each one of you and all of you, together with all the members of your households, a kosher* and joyous festival, in every respect.
It is surely unnecessary to underscore for you the necessity of devoting the days of Pesach* to your sacred mission — that of strengthening Jewish practice and the Torah* in general, and the teaching of Chassidus*, its ways and its practices, in particular.[2]
Undoubtedly, Hashem* will grant you success. Indeed, you know the statement of our Sages that "it was through the merit of the righteous women that yetzias Mitzrayim* was made possible." The same is so, at the present time, for the future redemption that will free us from the present galus*, the true redemption through our righteous Moshiach*.
With my blessing for a kosher* and joyous Pesach* festival,
P. S.: I am enclosing a copy of my letter addressed to all.[3] It will no doubt interest you and will certainly be useful to you in carrying out your sacred mission.
