By the grace of Hashem,

To my relative, the rav, distinguished chassid* who fears Hashem

and devotes himself to communal needs,

Greetings and blessings,

I received in due time your letter of the month of redemption[2]. I thank you for the good news regarding the chassidic farbrengen* you organized. Our Sages affirm that when ten Jews gather, the Shechinah* reveals itself. And the Alter Rebbe* specifies, in Iggeres HaKodesh*, ch. 23, that it is so even when they are not engaged in Torah[3]. You will also consult the Korban HaEdah* on Yerushalmi Eruvin*, ch. 1, par. 10.

And how much more so is it the case when those present listen to words of Torah. Doubtless one also took, on this occasion, good resolutions affecting concrete action. May Hashem grant that the good thoughts and the good resolutions also be followed by effect.

I enclose a brief biography of my father-in-law, the Rebbe, the leader of Israel, whose merit will protect us. Doubtless it will be useful to you for strengthening the light of Chassidus* in your surroundings.

With my blessing that you derive chassidic nachas* from all your children, and also from yourself,

בעתו קבלתי מכתבו מחדש הגאולה ות"ח על הבשו"ט מההתועדות אשר נערכה וידוע מרז"ל אכל בי עשרה [שכינתא] שריא ושכמו שפירש רבינו הזקן שהוא אף שאינם מדברים בדברי תורה (אגה"ק סי' כ"ג ועיין ג"כ קה"ע ירוש' עירו' פרק א' הלכה יו"ד) וכש"כ וק"ו כשהנאספים שומעים שם ד"ת, ובודאי נתקבלו ג"כ החלטות טובות בהנוגע לפועל, ויה"ר מהשי"ת אשר המחשבות וההחלטות הטובות יומשכו ג"כ לפועל במעשה.

מצו"פ סקירה קצרה ע"ד תולדות ימי חייו של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע נשיא ישראל, שבטח תביא לו תועלת בהחזקת אור החסידות בסביבתו.

בברכה לנחת חסידותי מכל יו"ח וגם הוא עצמו בכלל.
