Greetings and blessings,

I had this week the occasion to think of you, since it was 10 Shevat, the date of the hilula* of my father-in-law, the Rebbe, the tzaddik* who is the foundation of the world, whose merit protects us. Throughout his life, he gave of himself to guide the sons and daughters of Israel, in every place, on the path leading toward the Sanctuary of Hashem, with ahavas Hashem*, ahavas haTorah*, and ahavas Yisrael*, since such are the fundamental values of the teaching of Chassidus*.

The Mitteler Rebbe*, son of the Alter Rebbe*, author of the Tanya* and the Shulchan Aruch*, founder of Chabad*, as the notes and summaries on the Likutei Amarim* indicate, edited by us, on p. 122, teaches[1] that "thanks to this self-sacrifice[2] for Chassidus*, the Heavenly Court decreed that, in all that concerns Torah, yiras shamayim* and good conduct, those who are bound to him and follow his practices would have the upper hand."

From time to time, I receive good news of your aid and your participation in our sacred work to dispense judicious chinuch* in your country, within the schools founded by the one whose hilula* we celebrate.

I therefore have a good remembrance of you, especially at this propitious moment, so that you obtain an effective blessing and success, both in your communal action and in your personal preoccupations, in a positive manner for yourself and for all the members of your family.

I enclose the chassidic maamar* entitled "The Holy One, blessed be He, does not act with stratagem toward His creatures," the author of which is the one whose hilula* we celebrate. We have edited it recently, and undoubtedly, it will interest you very much.

שעת הכושר היתה בשבוע זה להעלות את כמ"ע שי' על זכרוני, שכן חל בו יו"ד שבט, יום ההילולא של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר צדיק יסוד עולם זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע, אשר כל ימיו מסר נפשו להדריך את בני ובנות ישראל בכל אתר ואתר בדרך העולה בית א-ל, באהבת השם, אהבת התורה ואהבת ישראל, עמודי התווך של תורת החסידות.

קבלה בידינו מאדמו"ר האמצעי, בנו של אדמו"ר הזקן בעל התניא והשולחן ערוך, מייסד תורת החב"ד (ראה "קיצורים והערות" לספר לקוטי אמרים, בהוצאתנו, עמוד קכב) אשר "בגלל המסירות נפש הלזו על תורת החסידות פסקו בבית דין של מעלה, אשר בכל ענין של תורה יראת שמים ומדות טובות תהי' יד מקושריו והולכי בעקבותיו על העליונה".

ומכיון שהנני מקבל ידיעות טובות מזמן לזמן על דבר הסיוע וההשתתפות של כמ"ע בעבודתנו הק' בחינוך הכשר במדינתו במוסדות שנוסדו על שם בעל ההילולא, הנה זכור מע"כ לטוב ובפרט בעת רצון זו להמשיך לו ברכה והצלחה בפועל ממש, הן בעבודתו לטובת הכלל והן בעניניו הפרטיים, הוא ובני ביתו שיחיו בטוב.

מוסג"פ מאמר "אין הקב"ה בא בטרוניא עם בריותיו" מבעל ההילולא, שהוצאנו לאור לא כבר, ובטח ימצא בו ענין רב.
