Greetings and blessings,
You ask me how to interpret the word hanolad*, that which is born. Is it a future[1] or a past[2]? You cite Tractate Yevamos* 11a and you also indicate that, in the expression: "Who is wise? He who anticipates that which is born (hanolad*)"[3], this term is used in the past, according to the explanation of the Alter Rebbe*.
In fact, Chassidus* retains both interpretations[4] of this expression of our Sages, as the 43rd chapter of Tanya* and Likkutei Torah* Shemini Atzeres*, p. 91b, indicate.
