By the grace of Hashem,

Greetings and blessings,
You conclude your letter by noting that much comes from him, and you implore Hashem to grant you His help in this matter, for you do not deserve what you receive from him.
As you know, our Sages affirm that one who sanctifies himself a little here below receives, from Above, considerable sanctification. But one must still sanctify oneself a little here below, at least like the point of a needle! The strengths to attain this have been amply granted us by our Rebbeim, whose merit protects us. One must, nevertheless, keep the channel of attachment widely open, extend it as much as possible.
For this, one must follow the way they traced for us, keep their practices, and study their teaching. But above all, one must feel love for one's fellow. By uniting with another Jew in general, and with another chassid* in particular, one forges the receptacle containing the blessing — in this case that of HaKadosh Baruch Hu*, which has no limit. It is therefore revealed in the material and spiritual domains at once.

...מה שמסיים במכתבו, אז פון עם קומט אסאך ומתחנן מהשי"ת לסייעו בזה, כיון שאינו מתאים למה שמגיע ממנו כו', הנה ידוע פסק רז"ל שהמקדש עצמו מעט למטה מקדשין אותו הרבה מלמעלה, אבל עכ"פ צ"ל הקידוש במעט, ולפתוח כחודה של מחט לכל הפחות, וכחות אלו ניתנו לנו בשופי מנשיאנו הק' זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע אלא שצריך להחזיק צנור ההתקשרות עמהם פתוח ולהרחיב עד כמה שאפשר, והוא ע"י ההליכה בדרך אשר הורו לנו, שמירת תקנותיהם לימוד תורתם וכו' והעולה על כולנה הוא הענין דאהבת ישראל, אשר בהתאחדות עם עוד ישראל בכלל ואנ"ש בפרט, הנה הרי זה כלי המחזיק ברכה וברכתו של הקב"ה שהיא ברכה עד אין קץ, ובמילא - הן בענינים הגשמים והן בענינים הרוחנים.
