To the Rav, distinguished chassid* who fears Hashem
and devotes himself to communal needs,
Rav Dober[1], the shochet*,
Greetings and blessings,
It would be very positive to form an association and to organize a meeting, from time to time, for the young women, obviously independently of the young men and without there being singing, since this would result in harm, on account of women's voices[2].
You will find in the "Talks and Tales"[3] material for these meetings. Perhaps it will be possible to institute a rotation, so that each one may prepare a class and a presentation for this meeting. In this way, they will be more motivated and will themselves take charge of this activity.
I am sending you a message[4] for the days of Chanukah*. You will know how to make use of it in the appropriate manner.

... דבר גדול הי' לסדר איזה ארגון והתועדות מזמן לזמן בשביל בחורות מובן ופשוט שלא ביחד עם הבחורים וכן בהעדר נגונים כיון שיוצא מזה איזה פרצה בקול באשה ויש די חומר בהטאקס און טיילס וכיו"ב להתועדות, ואולי אפשר לעשות בהם גופא (אטשערעד) תור, שעל כל אחת ואחת יהי' להכין שיעור והרצאה בהתועדות שבמילא מעונינות יותר ונכנסים בעובי הענין...
