To the Rav, distinguished chassid who fears Hashem

and devotes himself to communal needs,

Greetings and blessings,

I received your letter, written at the conclusion of Shabbos Parshas Matos-Masei, which was conveyed with a little delay. I thank you for what you write me concerning the registrations[2] and their result, in the place of which you were responsible. You must rely fully on Hashem and be sure that all will go well, in accordance with the powers we have been given. Then, the darkness and the veils will disappear of themselves. I await your good news.

I was very satisfied to see that you do not content yourself with the work which is incumbent upon you within the framework of your activity. You go beyond it, in the broadest manner, and that is indeed the sign of a "faithful servant," according to the expression of the series of chassidic discourses of 5666[4].

I allude to that which you tell me of the influence which you exercise on the talmidim* of the yeshivah* found in Kfar Saba. Without doubt you will redouble your ardor in this domain, particularly in Elul, the month of mercy. One then serves Hashem in applying the words of the verse "I am to my Beloved," by the effort accomplished here below, "and my Beloved is to me," by the celestial revelation.

With my blessing for success in your sacred mission, in order also to know success in your personal preoccupations, that you be inscribed and sealed for a good year, together with your wife,

קבלתי מכתבו ממוצש"ק מטו"מ - שהתאחר קצת בהלוכו - ות"ח על מה שכותב ע"ד סדר הרשום והתוצאות במקום שהתעסק הוא וצ"ל חזק בבטחון בהשי"ת אשר יסתדרו הענינים לפי הכחות שיש בידינו ואז יבטלו מעצמם ההעלמות וההסתרים ואחכה לבשו"ט ממנו.

כן נהניתי במאד על שאינו מסתפק בהעבודה המוטלת עליו ע"פ משרתו אלא עוד מוסיף בזה בהידור (שזה סימן על עבודת עבד נאמן וכמבואר בהמשך דר"ה תרס"ו) וכוונתי בזה למה שכותב ע"ד השפעתו ופעולתו על בחורי הישיבה הנמצאים בכפר סבא ובטח יוסיף אומץ בזה ובפרט בחדש אלול הוא חדש הרחמים שאז העבודה היא אני לדודי - אתעדל"ת - ואח"כ דודי לי - אתעדל"ע...

בברכת הצלחה בעבודתו בקדש ושזה ימשיך ברכה והצלחה בעניניו הפרטים וכוח"ט לו ולז' שיחיו.
