Greetings and blessings,

I received with pleasure your letter of erev Shabbos Re'eh, in which you inform me that the marriage of your son has been set for Tuesday 5 Elul.

I would like, by the present, to express to you my blessing, a blessing of mazal tov, mazal tov. May the marriage take place in a good and fruitful moment. May they build together an everlasting home, based on Torah and mitzvos as they are illuminated by the teaching of Chassidus*. You yourself and your wife will conceive from them much satisfaction, a Jewish and chassidic satisfaction.

With my blessing of mazal tov, mazal tov, and wishing you to be inscribed and sealed for a good and sweet year,

N.B.: You will find enclosed a wedding gift. You will consult Maseches Bava Basra 144b, the Zohar vol. 1 p. 149a, and Likkutei Torah, at the end of Parshas Naso.

You have surely received my preceding letter, in which I confirmed to you having duly received the manuscripts. You will pursue their sending, as also that of the copies of letters, as you write. I thank you very much for it.

As for the redemption of the firstborn whose father has died, this problem has already been envisaged by many Sages, among the commentators of the Shulchan Aruch Yoreh Deah, ch. 305. You will also consult the responsa Tzemach Tzedek Yoreh Deah, ch. 222.

שימח אותי שהיתה לי ההזדמנות לדבר אתו טלפונית ולמסור לו
אישית את איחולי ,שהשי״ת יתן לו אריכות ימים ושנים טובות ובריאות
הנכונה -בקשר לכך שלקח על עצמו לסייע לבנות בית לחינוך הכשר על
טהרת הקדש על אדמת הקדש.
עתה שנדבתו כבר התקבלה ונמסרה להוצאה לפועל של תכלית הענין,
הנני שב ומנצל את ההזדמנות לחזור על הברכה ,שגם היא תבוא מן הכח אל
הפועל.
כי בכלל ,למרות שכל הברכות נמצאות אצל יהודים בכח ,התכלית
היא ,שברכות השי״ת יבואו כאן למטה בפועל ,שבזה קשור גם ענין ירידת
הנשמה למטה מאגרא רמא לבירא עמיקתא ,כך הוא אצל יהודים בכללות
וכך הוא בפרטיות אצל כל אחד.
במילא ,כשם שכעת נכנסה כבר הצדקה שלו לפועל טוב להשפעה
