Greetings and blessings,

I duly received your greetings, transmitted by the Rav, distinguished chassid who fears Hashem and devotes himself to communal needs, Rav Moshe Leib Rodstein. He also indicated to me that you wished a brachah* for obtaining the means to ensure your own subsistence. Indeed, you are not satisfied with your present situation.

You do not evoke your dispute with your family. You know the affirmation of our Sages, according to which shalom* is a receptacle for blessing, materially and spiritually. On the eve of Rosh Chodesh, I will find myself at the tziyun* of my father-in-law, the Rebbe, and, without making a vow of it, I will then mention your name and that of the members of your family, so that you may obtain the satisfaction of all your needs and, in particular, that you may be able to earn your livelihood, as you asked me. I hope to receive from you good news in this matter.

I do not know how your hotel is organized. Nevertheless, it would be judicious to place in the lounge, in the reading room, or on small tables, some Jewish sefarim, in Yiddish and in English, which would permit the readers to acquire yiras shamayim* and to enrich their knowledge. It would be, moreover, a receptacle for obtaining the brachah* and the success, in order to ensure your material subsistence. I am sure that you will find a person able to help you draw up a list of such works.

I conclude my letter wishing you to earn your livelihood amply. May Hashem grant you material goods and may you make of them spirituality.
