To the distinguished chassid* who fears Hashem,
Rav Ben Tziyon [1],
Greetings and blessings,
I received your letter of 20 Nissan, as well as your sefer*, the commentary of Rambam* on Megillas Esther, of which one copy reached me by mail and a second through the rav*, distinguished chassid* who fears Hashem, Rav Hendel Havlin. I thank you very much for this gift.
May Hashem grant that you have length of days and good years, that you may labor for the merit of all by disseminating such values, with the qualities Hashem has granted you, in tranquility and expansiveness, materially and spiritually.
As you ask of me, I will mention your name, that you be in good health, when I am at the tziyun* of my father-in-law. Undoubtedly, he will invoke divine compassion for the satisfaction of your needs.
I thank you very much for relating to me in your letter the explanation of the Mishnah* "the wise man has seven qualities" [2] which you heard from my father when you were in Kiev. If you could provide me other details that you would remember about that visit, and especially about that explanation, I would be grateful to you.

קבלתי מכתבו מכ' ניסן וכן נתקבל הספר פרוש מגלת אסתר להרמב"ם טופס אחד ע"י דואר וטופס שני ע"י הרה"ח הוו"ח אי"א נו"נ וכו' מוהר"ח הענדיל שי' הבלין, ות"ח ת"ח על תשורתו זו, ויה"ר מהשי"ת אשר יאריך ימים ושנים טובות ויוכל להתעסק ולזכות את הרבים בהני מילי מעלייתא כיד ה' הטובה עליו מתוך מנוחה והרחבה בגשמיות וברוחניות.
כבקשתו אזכירו לבריאות הנכונה בהיותי על הציון הק' של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע ובטח יעורר רחמים עליו להמצטרך לו.
ת"ח ת"ח על מה שמזכיר במכתבו ששמע מאאמו"ר ז"ל בעת בקורו בקיוב פי' על שבעה דברים בחכם, ות"ח מראש אם יוכל להודיעני עוד איזה פרטים הן מהפגישה ובעיקר מהפירוש עד כמה שנשארו בזכרונו.
