I bless and greet you,

On the occasion of Pesach[1], which we shall celebrate in these days, with all the Jewish people, I would like to wish a kosher and joyous Yom Tov to all the members of the women's organization[2], as well as to their families.

Doubtless you all know what the Midrash relates, which explains that the exodus from Mitzrayim* came about by the merit of the virtuous women of that time. Their merit consisted of forming a generation of young Jews, boys and girls.

It shall be the same at the geulah* that we all await, very soon and in our days, by means of Mashiach Tzidkeinu*. The latter depends, in large part, upon the conduct of Jewish women, in every place where they are found, and especially upon their manner of educating their children, and also of contributing to guiding the young generation on the way of Torah and mitzvos.

Your women's organization was created, in particular, to contribute to the financing of the institutions that my father-in-law, the Rebbe, founded. It must also follow the way of Torah and mitzvos. I hope that it shall develop, shall know material success, and shall produce good spiritual fruits.

May Hashem bless all your members, those who lead the actions and those who are responsible. May He also confer upon them hatzlachah* in their personal preoccupations.
