I greet and bless you,
On the occasion of the Yom Tov of Pesach that approaches, I wish to express to you my warm wishes that you celebrate it in a kosher manner and with the joy of a true "zeman cheiruseinu*," physically and morally together — for these two dimensions are inseparable.
In our generation, in this period of ikvesa diMeshicha*, when, in the expression of my father-in-law, the Rebbe, Moshiach "stands behind our wall,"[1] it is particularly important to give all the necessary attention and to direct all efforts toward the chinuch* of the young generation.
For Torah, Toras Emes and Toras Chaim, brings cheirus* to man, and our Sages say in the sixth perek of Avos that "none is free except he who studies Torah."[2]
The Yom Tov of Pesach particularly underscores the importance of chinuch. Thus the celebration of the Seder begins with the questions posed by the children. Various actions are then undertaken so that they not sleep, physically and even less so morally.
Likewise, the conclusion of Pesach commemorates the splitting of the Yam Suf, and our Sages emphasize, in Midrash Shemos Rabbah, that "the nursing infants and the very young children, born in Mitzrayim, recognized Hashem first."[3]
I conclude as I began, by wishing you a kosher and joyous Yom Tov of Pesach,

שלום וברכה!
בקשר עם ימי חג הפסח הממשמשים ובאים, הנני בזה להביע איחולי לבבי שיחוגו את חג הפסח בכשרות ובשמחת זמן חירותנו האמיתי, חירות בגשמיות וחירות ברוחניות, אשר אי אפשר לאחת בלי השני', אשר לכן בדורנו זה דעקבתא דמשיחא, אשר כפתגם כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע, הנהו כבר עומד אחר כתלנו, הנה נחוצה ביותר שימת לב והשתדלות גדולה בחינוכו של הדור הצעיר, מתאים להתורה תורת אמת תורת חיים, אשר היא היא הנותנת חירות לאדם, וכמרזל (אבות פ"ו) אין לך בן חורין אלא מי שעוסק בתלמוד תורה. ומודגש גודל ערך חינוך ביחוד בחג הפסח, אשר בראשיתו בטקס סדר של פסח, התחלתו הוא בשאלת תינוקות ועושים כמה מעשים שלא ישנו (הן בגשמיות ועאכו"כ ברוחניות) וכן גם בסיומא דפסח שהוא ענין קרי"ס ארז"ל (שמו"9ר שהעוללים ויונקים שנולדו במצרים הם הכירוהו (להקב"ה) תחלה.
