By the grace of Hashem,
28 Adar 5712,

To the great Rav, distinguished chassid* who fears Hashem,
HaRav Shalom[1],
I greet and bless you,
I wish, by means of the present, to express to you my brachah* for a kosher and joyous Yom Tov of Pesach.
May Hashem grant that you succeed in implanting in your talmidim* yiras Shamayim* and daas Hashem*. Such is, indeed, the goal of the Messianic period, when "all shall know Me, from the smallest to the greatest."[2]
Each of us must therefore make efforts, moral and physical, in this direction. And, our Sages say, "one is helped to him who wishes to purify himself,"[3] and likewise to him who brings this purification to others[4].

... והנני מביע בזה ברכתי ברכת חג פסח כשר ושמח ואשר השי"ת יזכהו לנטוע בהמושפעים שלו רוח יר"ש ודעת את האלקים שזהו תכלית ימות המשיח אשר כולם ידעו אותי למקטנם ועד גדלם ובמילא על כאו"א מאתנו לעבוד בכיוון זה ביגיעת נפש ויגיעת בשר וכל הרוצה לטהר (שפירושו ג"כ לטהר אחרים) מסייעים בידו.
