I greet and bless you,

I respond to your letter of 26 Adar, in which you inform me of your marriage. I therefore reiterate my brachah*, a brachah of mazel tov, mazel tov. You will build an everlasting edifice, founded upon Torah and mitzvos as they are explained and illuminated by Chassidus, the luminary of the Torah.

You are doubtless making the appropriate effort to find a suitable dwelling. Hashem will grant you hatzlachah* in this area.

You tell me that you wish to propose a shidduch* to your sister-in-law, namely one of the talmidim* of the yeshiva. This is a good initiative, and I do not understand why you hesitate to do it.

I would like to know whether your wife engages in any activity in the religious world, and if so, what. Likewise, would it be possible for you to set a Torah study with her? Of course, it shall be on the text you desire. The benefit that flows from this is quite obvious. My father-in-law, the Rebbe, mentions in his memoirs such conduct, which had a positive effect, materially and spiritually.

במענה על מכתבו מכ"ו אדר, בו כותב ע"ד הנשואין שלו, אכפול בזה ברכתי ברכת מזל טוב מזל טוב שיהי' בבנין עדי עד על יסודי התורה והמצוה וכפי שהם מוארים ומוארים בתורת החסידות הוא המאור שבתורה.

בטח משתדל במרץ הראוי למצאו דירה מתאימה והשי"ת יצליחם בזה.

מ"ש שרוצה להציע שידוך לגיסתו תחי' לאחד מאברכי התמימים, הנה איני מבין צד הספק' שבזה, כי נכון הדבר.

אתענין לדעת אם זגותו תחי' משתתפת באיזה ענינים של עסקנו חרדית ובמה, וכן אם אפשר הדבר שהוא יקבע איזה לימוד עמדה ביחד (כמובן במקום שלבו חפץ) התועלת בזה מובנת ופשוטה, וכמסופר ג"כ בזכרונות כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע ע"ד הנגות כאלו שהביאו תועלת בגו"ר.
