Igrot Kodesh · Letter 1466 — Ahavas Yisrael
Volume 5 · Letter 247
By the grace of Hashem,
26 Adar 5712,
Brooklyn,
I bless and greet you,
I would like to know whether you take part in the activities of Jewish women in your city, and if so, what your activity is.
As you doubtless know, it is commonly accepted that the Jewish people forms one large family, which must be welded together by ahavas Yisrael*. It is in this way that one can be led to participate in public activities, in order to come into contact with as many people as possible.
It is also in this manner that one can infuse enthusiasm into one's private life, whatever the situation in which one finds oneself. For one always has the possibility of helping the other persons with whom one comes into contact.
I wish you all good, and in particular, nachas* from your son.
Have a kosher Pesach,
