By the grace of Hashem,

I greet and bless you,

I have duly received the request for a brachah, for yourself and for your kallah*. I shall read it when I am at the tziyun* of my father-in-law, the Rebbe[1]. He will surely arouse divine rachamim* for the fulfillment of all your needs.

In speaking of your kallah, you ask in particular for a brachah that you have a chassidishe* home. Doubtless you yourself are striving to influence her in this direction. One point is fundamental to obtaining such a result, for it is self-evident. And it is especially important in your city, since it appears that this practice has weakened there. I am referring to the wearing of a sheitel*.

One must be very firm in this matter. This condition is imperative. She must by all means wear a sheitel. Without doubt, your desire to act rightly will help you find the words to convince her, and you will know hatzlachah*.
