To the rav*, distinguished chassid* who fears Hashem,
Rav Yehuda[1],

Greetings and brachos*,

I duly received your letter of 8 Shevat, with the request for brachah* enclosed therewith and which was read in a propitious moment near the tziyun* of my father-in-law, the Rebbe.

I thank you for the good news that you transmit to me, that of the chassidishe* farbrengen* the talmidim* of the yeshiva organized, and of the Shisha Sidrei Mishnah* whose study they divided among themselves. You say that this comes to about twenty-four perakim*[2] for each one. It seems that this is much too much for the talmidim of the lower classes, whom you mention in your letter. I rely on your judgment to organize all this in the manner that best suits their abilities.

Those who are returning from here[3] have surely reported to you what was said at the chassidishe farbrengen of 10 Shevat about the talmidei hayeshiva* association. You will organize all this in the best way.

בנועם קבלתי מכתבו מח' שבט ופ"נ המוסג"ב אשר נקרא בעת רצון על ציון כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע.

ת"ח על הבשו"ט אשר מודיע מההתועדות של תלמידי הישיבה וחילוק ששה סדרי משנה בין התלמידים, וכותב שהוא לערך כ"ד פרקים לכאו"א, ולכאורה זהו רב מכדי מדת תלמידים מכתות הנמוכות אשר מזכיר במכתבו, ואל בינתם אשען אשר יסדרו הדבר באופן המתאים לפי כשרונותיהם.

... בטח יודע מהבאים מכאן ע"ד מה שנדבר בעת התועדות יו"ד שבט בענין את"ה (איגוד תלמידי הישיבות) ובודאי יסדר הדבר באופן המתאים.
