Greetings and brachos*,

I learned, through the chassid* who fears Hashem and is devoted to communal needs, Rav Schneur Zalman Taubel, that you have set the date of your wedding, in a good moment, for 21 Shevat. May Hashem grant that it be good and joyous. With your wife, you will build a Jewish home, founded on Torah and mitzvos*.

Indeed, thousands of Yiddishe* homes have Torah and mitzvos as their foundation, and they have been able, in this way, to maintain themselves, to brave all storms and all difficulties, and to remain whole.

It is the same for the existence of every Yid* who is preparing to marry. If he takes the firm decision to build his home leaning on Torah and mitzvos, Hashem will grant him the brachah of having a home that is fervent and luminous, radiating warmth and light to its environment, capable of warming and illuminating the close family members, the Yidden* who reside nearby, and, in a general way, all the Yidden upon whom one can exercise an influence.

May Hashem help you and inspire in you the firm resolve to base your home and your family life upon the foundations just defined, according to the way of Torah and mitzvos, which is also that of true happiness and of success, material and spiritual.
