Greetings and blessings,
My letter wishing you Mazal Tov on your engagement has no doubt reached you. You ask me what study and what conduct to adopt until your wedding.
I have not received instructions on this subject. Moreover, you do not specify in your letter when the wedding will be celebrated, in an auspicious and propitious hour. A few weeks before it, you will need to study the laws that will be necessary for you — those of taharas hamishpachah*. It would be good to do so with young chassidim* who are already married.
Close to the wedding, you will study Sha'ar HaKedushah, chapters 15, 16, and 17. Hashem will grant that your union be fruitful in every respect.

מכתבי בברכת מזל טוב לקשורי התנאים שלו עם ב"ג תחי' בטח הגיעו במועדו, ובמה ששואל סדר בלימוד בהנהגה ובעבודה עד זמן הנשואין, הנה לא שמעתי בזה הוראות, וגם אינו כותב במכתבו למתי קבעו זמן הנשואין בשעה טובה ומוצלחת, כי כאיזה שבועות מקודם הרי צריך ללמוד הלכות הצריכות בהלכות נדה וכו' וטוב יותר שילמוד בחברותא עם האברכים הנשואים מאנ"ש שיחיו, ובימים הסמוכים לימי הנשואין, ללמוד בראשית חכמה שער הקדושה פט"ו, ט"ז, י"ז, והשי"ת יתן שיעלה זיווגם ליפה בכל הפרטים.
