To the rav*, distinguished chassid* who fears Hashem and devotes himself to communal needs,
Rav Ephraim[1],
Greetings and blessings,
I have received your telegram, in which you inform me that you have received a visa to travel. You request my consent to undertake this trip, and to do so by airplane.
In my view, it would no doubt be good if you organized your trip so as to be here on the day of the hilula*[2], the tenth of Shevat. It is therefore possible to consider a trip by ship, and there is no need to travel by airplane.
May Hashem grant that your trip be successful, materially and spiritually.
With my blessing for success and that you have chassidishe* nachas* from all your children,

קבלתי המברק שלו, בו מודיע אשר קבל רשיון לנסוע ושואל הסכמתי וכן ג"כ בענין הטיסה באווירון:
והנה לדעתי, אפשר הי' כדאי שיסדר נסיעתו באופן כזה שיהי' כאן ביום ההילולא הוא יו"ד שבט הבע"ל, ובמילא הרי יש האפשרות לנסוע ג"כ באני' ואין הכרח לטוס באוירון דוקא, ויתן השי"ת שתהי' נסיעתו בהצלחה בגשמיות וברוחניות.
בברכה להצלחה ולנחת חסידותי מכיו"ח
