Igrot Kodesh · Letter 1334 — Health

Volume 5 · Letter 112

By the grace of Hashem,
8 Teves 5712,
Brooklyn,

To the rav*, distinguished chassid* who fears Hashem,
Rav Meir Liber[1],

Greetings and blessings,

In reply to your letter of erev 24 Kislev. I learned from it with satisfaction that you have a fixed time to study nigleh* and Chassidus*. You will surely strengthen this, and when one adds[2], one receives an increased brachah* in everything that concerns children, health, and material abundance.

You pose the following question. You learn one chapter of Tanya each day, and you ask me whether it is possible to drop this study to replace it with that of the daily passage according to the annual division set forth in Hayom Yom.

In my opinion, do not abandon either one! Study a chapter of Tanya as you have done until now. Then learn, less in depth, the daily passage set forth in Hayom Yom.

Enclosed is my general letter dated this past Zos Chanukah[3].
