Greetings and blessings,

I have received your letter and the request for a brachah* for your cousin, conveyed through the rav*, distinguished chassid* who fears Hashem and devotes himself to communal needs, Rav Aryeh Leib Kremer[1].

I would like to know whether your cousin observes the laws of taharas hamishpachah*. If she does not, chas veshalom*, she must commit to do so in the most rigorous manner from this day forward.

She must also be asked to give every morning, except on Shabbos, tzedakah* for the fund of Rabbi Meir Baal HaNess*[2], and to have all the mezuzos* of her house checked to be sure they are kosher. I hope she will be able to display strong bitachon* in Hashem, so that everything proceed as it should and in its time, and that she be able to convey good news in this matter[3].

A doctor surely examines her from time to time, and she conforms to his prescriptions, particularly guarding herself against carrying heavy objects.

I do not write to her directly, because I wish that you should do so yourself, that you explain to her the importance of putting into practice what I have mentioned, in particular taharas hamishpachah. I hope to receive good news from you on this subject. Kindly convey my brachah to your cousin.
