By the grace of Hashem,

To our brethren, the Bnei Yisroel*,
who cherish Torah and mitzvos*,
in our Holy Land and in every place,
may Hashem grant you long life,

Greetings and blessings,

The sanctuary of Torah that is Yeshivas Toras Emes, situated in Yerushalayim — may it be rebuilt and restored — is well known among our brethren, the Bnei Yisroel.

It was founded forty years ago by the Rebbe Rashab, and from that time on it has been placed under his authority, and afterward under the authority of my father-in-law, the Rebbe. Both of them multiplied their efforts to come to the aid of the yeshiva* and to ensure its development.

Recently, owing to the immigration to the Holy Land — and despite its particularly difficult financial situation — the yeshiva has expanded, and it has striven to take in talmidim* from among the immigrant youth, who in this way can concretely realize their desire to live in the tent of Torah, imbued with yiras Shamayim*, to cleave to Hashem our Elokim through the words of the living Elokim.

It goes without saying that this activity has greatly increased expenses, and the yeshiva now finds itself in a serious and critical material situation.

I therefore launch herewith an appeal to all those who cherish Torah and mitzvos, wherever they may be:

Generously and with an open hand, support Yeshivas Toras Emes of Yerushalayim, may it be rebuilt and restored.

Grant it the means to continue and develop its holy work, in accordance with the needs of our era.

In the merit of this great mitzvah, Hashem will grant you brachah* and success — for yourselves, for your homes, and for your children — in every form of good, spiritual and material.

May your eyes and ours witness the lifting up of the keren* of Torah and yiras Shamayim, of the keren of the tradition of Yisroel, for "Yisroel, Torah, and HaKadosh Baruch Hu* are one."

נודע ומפורסם בתוככי בני ישראל היכל התורה, היא ישיבת "תורת אמת", אשר בירושלים עיר הקדש תבנה ותכונן.

לפני ארבעים שנה נוסדה על ידי כ"ק אדמו"ר (מהרש"ב) זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע ומני אז עמדה תחת נשיאותו, ואח"כ תחת נשיאות כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע, אשר רבות השתדלו בעזר הישיבה ופיתוחה.

בזמן האחרון, בקשר עם העלי' לאה"ק ת"ו, הנה למרות מצבה הכספי החמור ביותר, הרחיבה ישיבה זו את גבולה ועסקה והתאמצה בקליטת תלמידים מן הנוער העולה, היכולים על ידי זה לגשם בחיים את שאיפתם ותשוקתם להיות באהלה של תורה ספוגה יראת שמים, להדבק בהוי' אלקינו על ידי ד ברי א לקים ח יים.

מובן, אשר כל זה גרם להגדלת ההוצאה ביותר, והישיבה נמצאת עתה במצב גשמי רציני וקשה.

ובזה הנני פונה אל כל חובבי תורה ומצוה די בכל אתר ואתר:

תמכו בעין יפה וביד נדיבה בישיבת "תורת אמת - ירושלים ת " ו ". תנו לה את האפשריות להמשיך בעבודתה הק' ולהגדילה - מתאים לדרישת השעה .

ובזכות מצוה רבה זו ישפיע השי"ת ברכה והצלחה עליכם, על ביתכם וזרעכם, בכל מילי דמיטב, מנפש ועד בשר.

ועיניכם ועינינו תחזינה בהרמת קרן התורה ביראת שמים וקרן ישראל סבא, דישראל אורייתא וקוב"ה כולא חד.
