By the grace of Hashem,
26 Kislev 5712,
Brooklyn,

To the women's group of
Brownsville and East New York,

Blessings and greetings,

I was gratified to learn that you are preparing the annual banquet of your women's group. I hope you have made all the necessary preparations, and that the success will be considerable in every respect, both material and spiritual.

My father-in-law, the Rebbe, was accustomed to ask that every gathering lead to good deeds, both material and spiritual. One can in fact verify that when Yidden* imbued with the chassidishe* spirit gather, the result is good deeds in the three areas which in reality form one — ahavas Hashem*, ahavas haTorah*, and ahavas Yisroel*.

I ask you to convey my greetings to all the participants in the banquet. I extend to you my blessing that your work expand. The reward of Hashem is given "middah keneged middah*." He will therefore bestow His blessings upon each of you, and you will experience advancement in all that is necessary to you, as will your families — children, health, and material prosperity.

With my blessing for success in your communal and personal concerns,
