To the distinguished Rav, Rav H. Y. [1]

I greet you and bless you,

I receive, from time to time, news of you and your family, through my father-in-law, the Rebbe Shlita*. But it seems that you write little. Nevertheless, the main thing is that all is well, in every domain.

Nearly a year ago, I sent you one hundred and fifty Shekels*, along with the five hundred from my father-in-law, the Rebbe Shlita*, as his telegram explained to you at the time [2]. You were asked, in that telegram, to send packages to my parents, to whom Hashem will grant long life.

Subsequently, I wrote to you once more on this matter, to ask whether you had been informed that the packages had indeed reached them. For the moment, I have received no response from you, although the letter you addressed to my mother-in-law, the Rebbetzin*, seems to indicate that these packages were indeed sent.

I would therefore like to renew my request a second and even a third time. Can you tell me, even briefly, what the situation is regarding these packages and especially whether you have news of them.

I therefore await a prompt response from you.

I conclude by thanking you in advance and wishing for an immediate teshuvah* and an immediate redemption.

You will convey my greetings to all the members of your family, to whom Hashem will grant long life.

[2] In order to send packages to the Rebbe's parents, who were, at that time, exiled in Kazakhstan. These shipments were made from Eretz Yisrael* at that time.

מזמן לזמן שומע הנני מהנעשה אתו ואת כב"ב שי' ע"י כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר שליט"א, אבל כנראה ממעט הוא בכתיבה, והעיקר הוא - שאך טוב וחסד ימצאוהו בכל הפרטים.

זה כשנה ששלחתי על שמו מאה וחמישים שקל (ונכלל בשילוח החמש מאות של כ"ק מו"ח אד"ש כמבואר בשעתו בהטעלעגראם) ובקשוהו בטעלעגרמה ע"ד שילוח חבילות להורי שליט"א. כן כתבתי לו אחר זה עוד הפעם עד"ז בשאלה אולי הגיעו איזה ידיעות מהם שקבלו החבילות ובכלל מהנעשה אתם, אבל לא נתכבדתי ממנו במענה לע"ע אף שכנראה ממכתבו לחמותי הרבנית תי' שלח חבילות, ואכפול בזה בקשתי כפול ומשולש, להודיעני - ולו יהי' בקצרה - ע"ד החבילות והעיקר אם יש איזה ידיעות מהנעשה אתם,

ואצפה בכל אופן למענה ממנו בהקדם.
