Greetings and blessings,

I read with pleasure in your letter that you davened* at home, because the chazzan* engaged by your shul* was not what he ought to have been. This is always how one must react, for when the chazzan* is not fitting, not only is he of no use, but, more than that, he can cause damage. It is therefore preferable to daven* alone in such a case.

You will doubtless intercede so that the subsidy that has been granted to us for our educational work in Morocco be properly transmitted to us, by sending it here. If that is not possible, it could be addressed to our office in Paris[1]. For every coin enables enormous accomplishments in the area of good chinuch*.

I take this opportunity to send you the brochure[2] on Yud-Tes Kislev*, which I hope you will put to good use, for yourself and for others.
