I am not satisfied. Your letter shows that you do not possess, as you should, the bitachon* in Hashem that one is entitled to expect of a Jewish woman in general, and of a Chassidic woman in particular. As a result, your state of health and your home are suffering for it.

Every Jew, man or woman, must always bear in mind that Hashem, Who directs the great world, also without the least doubt commands the small world that constitutes the personality of each one of us. He has His say in the great world, and He has it likewise in the small world. One must therefore turn to Him in trust, certain that He desires the good.

And one must not impede the revelation of this good, by lacking confidence in Him or through situations that are not in keeping with the Torah. One of these situations is the harmony of the marriage.

Until the coming of Moshiach* is realized, there is no person without faults. One must therefore know that each one has at least one. Just as one does not desire to highlight and exaggerate one's own fault, one must not do so for the fault of another. This is so for everyone, and how much more so when it concerns one's own husband, the father of one's children.

My purpose is not to give you a lecture in mussar*. I simply want to point out to you that your situation is not as critical as you imagine, not as exceptional as you think. Each of you must change your perspective and discover the best means of restoring shalom bayis* between you. For peace will be the vessel into which Hashem pours brachah* and success, with good health, material plenty, and nachas* from the children.

In my opinion, you should consult your doctor, that he may indicate to you what you should eat and drink, and how to conduct your home. You will follow his prescriptions, and Hashem will help you, without a doubt, so that each thing comes about in its time, in the best and most fruitful way.
