B'ezras Hashem,

To the young man, Shlomo Soussan[1],

Greetings and blessings,

I was pleased to learn from the great Rav, Chassid* who fears Hashem, devotes himself faithfully to the needs of the community, and multiplies positive accomplishments, Rav Michoel Lipsker, that you led a campaign among Jewish youth, during the time you spent in your city, to prevent them from transgressing the holy day. Likewise, you continue your action to prevent the desecration of Shabbos*, Heaven forbid.

The importance of such activity is beyond measure. One can see that a seed sown in the ground gives rise to many seeds. It suffices, for that, that the planting be done at the right time, in the right place, and in the right manner.

How much more so in the spiritual realm. A single action, when it is dedicated to the Name of Hashem, can bear fruit and "fruits of fruits," beyond all that one can imagine, to the ends of the earth.

Chassidus* gives a particular interpretation of the expression "to the ends of the earth." It teaches that, through these fruits, the world — which is a veil of Divinity[2] — will reach its "end," its terminus, so that this veil which conceals the realm of kedushah* will disappear.

May Hashem grant that you continue these good actions, in accordance with the directives of the great Rav and Chassid*, Rav M. Lipsker. Obviously, all of this must not diminish your fervor in the study of the revealed part of Torah and its hidden teaching.

May Hashem grant that you have success in study, suffused with yiras Shamayim*, and that you draw the hearts of Jews close to their Father in Heaven.

בנועם נודעתי ע"י הרה"ג והרה"ח אי"א נו"נ עוסק בצ"צ באמונה ר"מ ור"י מוה"ר מיכאל שי' ליפסקאר, ע"ד ההתעוררות שעשה בעת היותו בעירו בתוך נוער ילדי ישראל, למונעם מחילול יום הקדוש. וכן אשר ממשיך הוא בעבודתו למנעם מחילול יום השבת ח"ו.

גודל הענין בזה אין לשער. וכמו שרואין אנו במוחש אשר מגרעין אחד הנזרע בארץ גדלים כמה וכמה גרעינים, ורק שהזריעה תהי' בזמן המתאים ומקום המתאים ובאופן המתאים, הרי על אחת כמה וכמה בענינים רוחניים אשר אפילו פעולה אחת כשנעשית לשם שמים, אין לשער את הפירות ופירי פירות הבאים ממנה עד סוף כל העולם.

וידוע הפירוש אשר בכתבי החסידות "עד סוף כל העולם" שפירות אלו עושים סוף וקץ להעולם - לשון העלם - היינו לזה שהעולם מעלים ומסתיר על עניני קדושה.

ויהי רצון אשר ימשיך בפעולותיו הנ"ל על פי הוראת הרה"ג והרה"ח הר"מ שי' ליפסקאר, ופשוט הדבר אשר אין זה צריך לבלבלו משקידתו בתורה בנגלה ובנסתר, והשי"ת יזכהו להצליח בלימוד ביראת שמים ולקרב את לבם של ישראל לאביהם שבשמים.
